PROJECT PARTNERS
The Through the Looking Glass Project has been in operation for a number of years funded by the Commonwealth. Differing funding rounds has enabled the program to maintain operation across a number of centres and states and has involved a number of key partner agencies supporting the project implemenattion. The contast agency delivering this program has been the Lady Gowrie Child Centre in Adelaide where the program was first developed.

The Lady Gowrie Child Centre is a community based childcare centre, based in the inner western suburbs of Adelaide at Thebarton and Underdale
Lady Gowrie Child Centre is a dynamic community based organization leading the development of innovative and responsive services for children and families building leadership capacity in the wider community. Lady Gowrie Child Centre provides child care and kindergarten programs with an emphasis on relationships and effective partnerships with families.

Children Youth and Women's Health Services:
A statewide health service for children, young people and women in South Australia.

The Children, Youth and Women's Health Service brings together the Women's and Children's Hospital and Child and Youth Health to form a statewide health service for children, young people and women in South Australia.

Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Services,
Helen Mayo House is an acute psychiatric inpatient unit for mothers with children under the age of 5
Helen Mayo House assists women experiencing mental health problems following the birth of a baby. Up to six women can be admitted, with their partners and children under five years if they wish.
Helen Mayo House provides

Inpatient services for women who are unable to care for themselves and their baby at home

Day services offering new knowledge and styles of handling problems to avoid or shorten hospitalisation

Telephone counselling for women in distress after the birth of their baby

Child and Youth Health: A primary health state wide service for infants, children, adolescents and their families

A state government department focused on development of services which meet the needs of children and families in diverse settings and circumstances providing integrated care and education programs for children aged 0-12 years.
